Since 1882, Hodgson Mill has been grinding whole grains and making nutritious foods that are full of natural flavor but free of artificial preservatives, additives and colorings. For more than a century, their customers have been enjoying the taste and reaping the health benefits of whole grains. Hodgson Mill makes whole grain, fiber-rich foods that fulfill the special dietary needs for all of their customers.
A new Hodgson Mill visitor center/sales and marketing building in Effingham is being constructed. The main floor features a store with all Hodgson Mill products, local products and hard to find cooking gadgets. It will also display the history of milling over the years. Along with the retail store, an education center that will offer a wide variety of classes from baking to healthy
eating will be on site. Future plans also include a small café where visitors can enjoy some of the fresh baked products from Hodgson Mill while sitting on the large porch. For more information, visit their website www.hodgsonmill.com
